Captain
Rick's boating course is approved by the State of Connecticut and The National
Association of Boating Law Administrators. This is the certification you
need to operate a vessel in the state. The certification also has a
reciprocity agreement with every other state that requires one making you legal
there also. Classes are held at the Project Oceanology building located on
the campus of the University of Connecticut at Avery Point in Groton CT.
If your not interested in a classroom setting, private classes are available for
you and your family to get your boating certificate in your home or on your own boat!
One day classes are available.
The
personalized on water instruction, on your boat, gives you the kind of hands on learning
you didn’t get in the state mandated course. This allows you to learn the
strengths and weaknesses specific to your vessel so you can operate it to its
fullest potential, with minimum effort and maximum enjoyment. Individual,
couples, or family instruction, on your boat or ours. Tell us what you feel
would give you the level of comfort you need and we will .
